Technical Services Division: Ongoing questions about “Mends”
The difference between:
Unavailable: Mending (OPAC)
CMEND (Circ)
And
Unavailable: Mends/TS (OPAC)
CTSMEND (Circ)
CMEND items have been moved to that status in the Circ module by staff or volunteers.
The item then goes to YS, AS or Ext. for selectors to evaluate the item. The item will either be discarded, reordered or sent to TSD for mending.
This also means the item could physically be just about anywhere, on a cart in YS, AS, Ext, or on one of the carts in the hallway outside TSD.
CTSMEND items have been moved to that status by Teresa or Denise in TS when the item physically is in the TSD workroom.
