Lori has taken over the returned mail that Lizzie used to do. If you see an address with a 99999 zip code it means that the patron has moved and left no forwarding address. We keep their old address in because some have given the same address, so only their zip code changes. If there is a forwarding address, all the information is changed.
She also expires cards until we get an updated address from them.
Some patrons have switched to a PO box and Lori has put a message in their record that we need a secondary address. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Display Shelf Below Quilt
In case you haven’t read the LMT and Adult services minutes -
New books will no longer be displayed on the shelves below the quilt, but all of our other display areas will remain the same. The shelves below the quilt will now feature selected oversize books.

Cash Counting
When payment is made by credit card make sure to get the signed receipt back from the patron for the cash drawer. On the “rare” occasion when the person settling the cash drawer finds that a receipt is missing, simply put a note in the bag stating that it’s missing for Erin and Janelle (don’t stress over it). Yes, it is extremely important to make sure that all the receipts match the settlement for dispute purposes, but sometimes a mistake is made. Just be careful out there!

Guest Passes
Circulation is now out of the guest pass business. If a new patron needs to use the computers, please direct them to the reference desk for a guest pass. The numbers have been removed from the circulation desks.
